Frequently asked questions.
Are there any looks you refuse to create?
Yes there are. Makeups I refuse to create include anything that is culturally appropriative, or promotes any form of racial or cultural stereotype and/or mockery. Examples include: using makeup to make a person appear as a different race, doing cultural specific makeup on an individual who is not of or celebrating that culture (Dia De Los Muertos makeups, indigenous or tribal makeups, black face, geisha makeup, etc.)
I’m Interested in having a body paint done, are you inclusive to all bodies?
Yes! Absolutely! Regardless of body size, body shape, sex, gender identity, or whatever else makes you beautifully unique, l am over the moon to work with you!
Are you inclusive to all people regardless of gender identity, self expression, sexuality, race, etc.?
You bet I am! I strive to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all of my clients during all of my services. I love everything that makes my clients unique and beautiful. Makeup is an artform that knows no boundaries when in comes to individuality and I am happy to create with anyone! If there is anything specific I can do to help achieve further comfort for you during a service please let me know so I can accommodate to the best of my ability. My clients are my top priority!
I want to do a look with prosthetics, contacts, teeth, etc. but i don't know where or how to purchase these items
That's no problem! I am happy to work with you and use my resources to find the perfect prosthetics and/or accessories for whatever look you're planning! Just inquire about them when we're chatting about your project and I'll be happy to talk about different options and pricing!
I'm a photographer/model/local creative. do you do collabs?
Yes I do love a good collaborative project! However I do have to be mindful of my time, materials, and their worth. With that being said I am very selective with the collaborations I choose to take on. If you are interested in collaborating with me l encourage you to please reach out to me with project details and I'll let you know if it's a project I'm interested in doing and can fit into my schedule. I also charge a $50 collaborative kit fee to help me with the cost of my materials as well as expect that the cost of custom materials such as prosthetics, contacts, etc. be covered by the collaborative host.
Do you have any recommendations for other local businesses or services?
I sure do! I have so many amazing friends who are insanely talented at what they do. Find a list of some of my favorite people to work with here
